Employees have basic rights to privacy, fair compensation, and freedom from discrimination. Job applicants have the right to be free of discrimination based on age, gender, race, national origin, or religion during the hiring process. Violations of these rights, such as harassing an employee, or paying an employee an unfair wage, can result in claims against the employer. The attorneys of Harrell & Nowak, serving New Orleans, Metairie, and Kenner, are ardent advocates of employee rights. If you've been harassed, discriminated against, or otherwise treated unfairly, please contact our firm for a consultation to discuss your claim.
