The family has to deal with the tragic loss of a young life at the hands of a negligent and thoughtless driver. Families and loved ones in situations like this have rights, however. A wrongful death action can help remedy some of the loss and give family members a sense of justice. The criminal courts will handle the punitive side of the matter. An experienced wrongful death lawyer can help with the civil lawsuit.
